| She let her paws guide her over the earth as she looked around in sunlight. She had been wandering ever since her crush, Abel from another pack lashed out at her. Sighing tiredly she listened to a river and then went towards it. Her life had turned upside down once again. Making it to the water she quickly took in the coldness of the water. It was refreshing. It soothed her body although it was cold.
Catching the sound of movement she lifted her head quickly looking around again and took in the scents. She didn't smell anything out of the ordinary besides the pack that resided on the other side of the river. Ginger was tempted to cross over but the scent of a cougar hit her nose. She turned away and started back in the brush but froze when she heard a low rumble. Pricking her ears she turned her body back around then heard a loud yowl and felt hard weight land on her back. With a surprised yelp she threw herself forward into the river

A massive black dire walked on his lands, his large feet and claws made foot prints in the softer ground. He knew he was closing in on the Hidenka river. The lushery of the forest made his lands look peaceful and quite. His electric blue eyes sweeped over the canopies of the trees. It was a quite time of evening, nothing seemed out of place. But then the sound of a yowl echoed through the atmosphere that was shortly followed by a loud splash. "What the...?" he trailed of, his voice thick with confusion. Upon hearing the splashing sound he sped up his walk to a fast paced gallop. Within minutes he came to a halt, his royal blue eyes looking over everything. They soon landed on the pale tawny pelt of a cougar. His black lips peeled back reviewing large sharp deadly canines made for tearing flesh. A low gurgling snarl erupted from his chest and out his parted lips. His vocals vibrated constantly as he readied himself to attack. By now the cougar noticed him and let out a snarl of its own, it's large paws swiping at the air. The river was wide in this part of the woods. Right before the curve it is thinner, a much more safer way to pass through by jumping or swimming. The cougar didn't seem like it was going to do anything and just turned and left. Atticus didn't know if the tawny pelted beast acutally left but long as it was on the other side of the river he was fine. Wary but fine. His blue eyes looked over to see a wolf in the water. The currents looked strong but Atticus ignored it as his towering bulky frame wadded slowly into the cold water. He was up to his belly by the time he reached his kin. His powerful jaws snapped into the wolfs scruff and dragged them out. The current was stronger then he thought and with the extra weight he was hauling didn't exactly help the situation. The obsidian black male did slip and trip here and there but with I final push he managed to reach shore. He dropped the wolf on the ground before collapsing onto the ground. He was soaking wet and tired from his late afternoon swim. Once he regained feeling in his legs he stood and shook her pelt free of water. He sat down and gave the stranger a heated glare. He risked his life for this fea so she better have a good excuse for him. "Speech!"

| She splashed around in the river then felt somebody grab onto her and pull her to shore. She coughed laying on the ground and then sat up seeing the male that saved her. "T...thanks" she stood up and moved a bit away from him before shaking out her fur.
Ginger then let her amber eyes fall back on the male. He smelled like a pack wolf. "Sorry...I didn't mean to come close to your territory. I've just been wanderin for so long..." she said sitting back down looking at the ground avoiding his gaze.
